TUT PRETORIA CAMPUS SOCCER TRIALS

It is a hot and sunny day in Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria Campus  .Campus . The hot weather is more suited for one to relax in the shade of trees , but that didn’t hinder the young men fromof TUT Pretoria, Soshanguve and Garankuwa from attending the football/soccer trials that were held by the TUT Football Club on the 20th of April , 2022.

 

All clubs and coaches were encouraged to send their players to come and participate in these trials. Covid19 protocols were followed during the trials, on the fields and where the audience was sitting. All students were granted access to come watch the trails at the TUT soccer stadium .

 These were the first soccer trails for 2022 since the beginning of the academic year year and the excitement was detectable in the coaches and players eyes . 

 West City Football Club coach Goitsemodimo Modumo has brought his players to trail for the soccer team and he was relishing the moments. “I am hopeful that two or three of our boys will make the cut based on the quality that I know they possess. So I’m confident“, says Goitsemodimo. 


We asked one of the players who were also trailing out the team how the whole experience is. “The experience is amazing and overwhelming at the same time, especially being selected for the next round”, Hlalumi Nxiwa
